In partnership with the Keck School of Medicine of USC, PUENTE brings Healthcare Saturdays to Los Angeles high school students. The program is designed to empower youth to pursue a college education and have a better understanding about careers in the healthcare industry.
Join PUENTE in our series of Healthcare Career Workshops beginning this Fall! You will learn from Keck USC healthcare professionals, faculty, and students.
- When?
– There will be the following (8) Saturday Zoom and in-person sessions throughout the school year:
- Saturday – September 21,2024 (In Person 9:30am-12:00pm at PUENTE)
- Saturday – October 19,2024 (Virtual 10:00am- 11:30am)
- Saturday- November 16,2024 (Virtual 10:00am- 11:30am)
- Saturday- December 7,2024 (Virtual 10:00am- 11:30am)
- Saturday- January 25,2025 (Virtual 10:00 am- 11:30am)
- Saturday- February 22,2025 (Virtual 10:00am- 11:30am)
- Saturday- March 9,2025 (Virtual 10:00am-11:30am)
- Saturday- April 26,2025 (In Person 9:30am-12:00pm at Keck School of Medicine of USC)
- Where?
– Six (6) virtual Zoom sessions and Two (2) in-person sessions *Zoom links will be sent prior to events.*
- Who can attend?
– 9th through 12th grade high school students who live or attend school in Los Angeles.
Students that show consistent participation will be receiving gift bags, certificate of program completion, and other incentives!
